Waukesha Bearings in Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for second shift. The role focuses on reading blueprints and process sheets, setting up CNC lathes and mills, selecting tooling, and verifying parts with precision measurement tools.

You will read, edit, and write G-code, run first pieces, and document results per lean quality systems. The position requires 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM with a shift premium.

Formación

• Hands-on manufacturing experience using precision inspection tools.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC operation preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensions and setups.
• Set up CNC lathes or mills, select tooling, and verify offsets.
• Read, edit, and write G-code; produce first piece and verify with CMM/inspections.
• Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials; document results per quality system.
• Support continuous improvement and safe, lean practices.
