Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking an experienced Machinist for our on-site facility in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will lead complex machining, develop CNC programs, and mentor junior machinists while maintaining strict quality standards.

The role requires 7+ years of machining experience with lathes and mills, and a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. On-site work with team-oriented culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of machining experience with lathes and mills.
• Must meet employment eligibility and complete background checks and pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform expert-level setups on CNC and manual machines, including multi-axis systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; drive process improvements and safety.
• Mentor junior machinists and apprentices, sharing knowledge across the team.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards using precision measuring tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production planning to resolve issues and support new products.
• Maintain records of setups, tooling, and process changes.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and monitor machine performance.
• Operate forklifts and obtain certifications as needed.
