Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Machinist for the 1st shift in Verona, WI. You will independently set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machines in a climate-controlled shop, focusing on precision parts and strict GD&T tolerance reading.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining and programming experience.
• Proficiency with Fusion 360 and Mazatrol.
• Reading blueprints with GD&T callouts.
• Independently set up fixtures, tooling, and offsets.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, tape measures.
• Work with aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and plastics.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines using Mazatrol and G-code.
• Program and run parts with Fusion 360 or Mazatrol.
• Set up jobs with fixturing and offsets; manage multiple setups.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure part accuracy.
• Inspect own work with micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain machine performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow safety and keep a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with team and cross-train as needed.
