Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Marion, OH for 1st or 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC and manual tools, interpret blueprints, and manufacture precision components. Overtime potential and training on 1st shift are available.

Top candidates will have strong G/M code knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to perform precise measurements with calipers and micrometers. This is a direct placement opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC and/or manual machine tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Familiarity with shop math and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC/machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and job instructions to plan set-ups.
• Perform changeovers and prepare machines for different jobs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust processes to improve quality.
• Record labor hours and job progress in in-house software.
