Re:Build CDI facility in Avon, OH is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run CNC milling jobs on vertical and horizontal machines. You will read blueprints, measure with calipers, height gauges and micrometers, and ensure quality through inspection.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop. The position requires 1-3 years of CNC milling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling.
• Willing to work 1st Shift.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, turning and tapping.
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, load and run product into the CNC machine.
• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift.
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection.
• Completes reports and other associated paperwork.
• Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Safeguards company property (electronic, intellectual, and physical).
• Manages assigned records (as owner).
