Job summary

Cutting Dynamics, LLC (CDI) in Avon, Ohio, part of the Re:Build family, seeks an experienced CNC Milling Operator to set up, load, and run milling jobs, inspect features, and maintain records. This role supports aerospace and other industries with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You will handle manual deburring, perform measurements, and ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to QMS and daily reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years operating vertical and horizontal CNC mills.
• Read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and verify parts with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Proficient in drilling, turning, tapping; deburr to a clean finish.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and quality to resolve issues.
• Keep a tidy, safe workspace and follow QMS procedures and documentation.
• Willing to work 2nd shift (5 days/week, 8-hour shifts) with overtime when needed.
• High school diploma/GED; strong math; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and run CNC milling jobs (production and non-production).
• Inspect features per the PRD and record measurements legibly.
• Perform manual deburring as needed.
• Complete required reports and paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily maintenance and leave the area clean at shift end.
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property.
• Own and manage assigned records.
