Job summary

Re:Build CDI facility in Avon, OH is seeking a Machine Operator to operate CNC machinery to fabricate parts for aerospace and defense industries.

You will set up and run jobs, perform routine maintenance, inspect parts, and document results while adhering to Quality Management System procedures. 2nd shift details included.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years CNC milling experience, read blueprints, and are proficient with calipers, height gauges, and micrometers; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Proficient with machining operations like drilling, turning and tapping.
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines; Bridgeport experience preferred.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, load and run product into the CNC machine
• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed
• Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection
• Completes reports and other associated paperwork
• Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms
• Safeguards company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical)
• Manages assigned records (as owner)
