Jobot is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Oregon. This permanent role sets up and operates Fanuc CNC machines, reading blueprints and ensuring precision and quality across production.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, proficient with Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software, and strong mill and lathe operation skills. You will program, run, inspect, and maintain equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine task specifications.
• Translate instructions into machine commands for correct function.
• Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance.
• Test machine operation to ensure smooth running.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per policy and safety rules.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficiency and proper workflow.
• Contribute to team goals by achieving related results.
