Job summary

MAPP Technologies in Joplin, MO is seeking an experienced Machinist II to set up and operate CNC machines, producing precision parts according to blueprints. You will ensure efficiency, perform adjustments as needed, and conduct quality checks.

This role requires 3–5 years of machining experience, familiarity with Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc controls, and the ability to read complex specifications. OT and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years machining experience required.
• Experience with Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read customer specs, blueprints and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC machines independently, including tool changes and offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine part requirements.
• Conduct in-process inspections and final quality checks with precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimize processes and reduce scrap.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
