Job summary

Integrated Metal Components in Tualatin, Oregon, is seeking an Experienced CNC Machinist to operate lathes and milling centers, read blueprints, and verify parts to precise tolerances. The role requires setup, programming offsets, and tool changes on Haas controls, with attention to detail and safety as top priorities.

You will work on swing shift (2:15pm-10:45pm), running production lots, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality from first part to final inspection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in metal manufacturing with precision lathe and mill setup.
• Experience with manual inspection equipment and FAI processes.
• Able to read drawings and adjust offsets independently.
• Strong machine shop/metalworking fundamentals.
• Manual machining skills preferred.
• Haas controls experience.
• Able to set up CNC loading programs, tools, fixtures, offsets.
• Able to read machine codes and run first parts.
• Use setup sheets; adjust programs as needed.
• Mastercam/G&M code experience is a plus.
• Proficient with measuring tools; blueprint reading.
• Excellent math skills; good with decimals and trig.
• Tolerances reading; close tolerances (thousandths).
• Precision inspection with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges.
• Lean manufacturing experience a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail; dependable and proactive.
• Willing to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Haas TL-2 and manual lathe.
• CNC milling: monitor, offset changes, and produce quality parts.
• CNC setup: load programs, fixtures, and offsets.
• Use Haas controls to input G & M codes.
• Calculate feeds and speeds.
• Read blueprints; verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up machining per setup sheets and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and optimize programs/fixturing.
• Maintain safe, organized work area.
• Overtime as required.
