Your Opportunity: Become a Key Player in Precision Manufacturing.

As a Machinist, you will be instrumental in producing custom parts with exceptional accuracy. You will:

  • Master blueprints and specifications, translating them into tangible, high-quality components.
  • Calculate and execute precise cuts and bores, ensuring adherence to strict tolerances.
  • Leverage your programming expertise on conversational milling machines and lathes to bring designs to life.
  • Shape a variety of critical materials, including steel & aluminum.
  • Optimize machining processes by determining feed speeds and selecting the right tools and parts.
  • Strategize and execute the sequence of cutting and finishing operations for optimal results.
  • Skillfully set up and operate drill presses, lathes, and milling machines.
  • Program and command HURCO machines using ProtoTrak software to achieve unparalleled precision in custom part creation.
  • Verify settings through meticulous measurements of positions, first-run parts, and samples.
  • Maintain detailed records of production and quality control actions.
  • Precisely determine and achieve critical fabrication tolerances.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • A solid foundation of 3-5 years of hands-on machinist experience, ideally complemented by technical, trade, or vocational training.
  • Proven ability to program conversational milling machines or lathes (required).
  • Familiarity with HURCO or other conversational machines.
  • Experience with ProtoTrak Software (desired).
  • The ability to interpret complex electronic blueprints with a strong understanding of fabrication tolerances.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to evaluate product quality, making necessary programming adjustments.
  • A resourceful, reliable, and independent work ethic.
