CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER

Aries Electronics, Inc., an electronic connector manufacturer located in Bristol, PA, has an opening for a reliable, productive CNC Machinist / Programmer. The ideal candidate should have Vertical CNC machining experience in:

• Creating and editing CNC programs using CAM CNC software.
• Manufacturing plastic and metal components.
• Creating tooling and fixtures.

This role involves manufacturing components used in connectors, test sockets, and cable assemblies. It is a full-time position, with consideration also given to part-time or semi-retired machinists/programmers. The shift is first shift (7am-3:30pm) M-F, with possible overtime as required.

Requirements include:

• At least 2 years of experience creating/editing CNC programs using CAM CNC software, with FeatureCAM experience being a major plus.
• Ability to manually edit/write programs at the CNC machine.
• At least 2 years experience safely setting up and operating Vertical CNC Machining/Milling Centers (Haas DT & MiniMills, Bridgeport), including performing CNC preventative maintenance.
• Experience machining engineering-grade plastics, aluminum, copper, and some stainless steel.
• Experience machining/drilling tight tolerances and small details.
• Ability to control raw material and tooling inventory, coordinating with Purchasing.
• Proficiency in measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, gage blocks, and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/detailed drawings.
