A established manufacturing company in Algona, IA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to join the team. You will operate lathes and milling machines, develop and optimize CNC programs, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Experience with CNC programming, CAD/CAM packages, DNC systems & networking equipment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently bend or stoop
• Proficient math skills and ability to read blueprints/order specs
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

CNC Machinist Competitive Wages - Depending on Experience Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm + Overtime

An established manufacturing company located in Algona, IA is looking for a skilled Machinist with CNC programming experience to join their growing team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, etc. in the machine shop area to produce metal parts with precision. This role is responsible for creating and optimizing programs for CNC equipment and ensuring all products meet quality standards. There may be opportunities to assist in other areas of the company which will require positive communication with supervisors, co-workers and other internal customers. Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes using Fanuc controls
• Operate manual and computer controlled machinery, i.e. - lathes and milling machines
• Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance around the work area
• Follow all company standards for safety, quality and productivity
• Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance
• Identify and resolve issues within a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Respectful, positive attitude and communication with all members of the organization

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; and one to three months of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with CNC programming, CAD/CAM packages, DNC Systems, & Networking equipment
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. frequently
• Ability to use hands & arms repetitively and bend & stoop frequently
• Proficient math skills
• Ability to accurately utilize a variety of measuring instruments, i.e. - tape measure, micrometer, caliper, etc.
• Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or order specifications
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems
