Job summary

A established manufacturing company in Algona, IA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to join the team. You will operate lathes and milling machines, develop and optimize CNC programs, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include programming with Fanuc controls, reading blueprints, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining safety and productivity. We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Experience with CNC programming, CAD/CAM packages, DNC systems & networking equipment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently bend or stoop
• Proficient math skills and ability to read blueprints/order specs
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes using Fanuc controls
• Operate manual and computer controlled machinery (lathes, milling machines)
• Perform housekeeping and routine maintenance in the work area
• Follow safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Demonstrate attendance and punctuality
• Identify and resolve issues promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain a respectful, positive attitude and communication with the team
