IQ Resource Group is hiring Experienced CNC Machinists in Weyauwega, WI. Candidates should have relevant experience in CNC machining. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals.

Location:

Weyauwega, WI

Wage:

$18-$30 (DOE)

Work Hours:

• 6am-4pm M-TH
• 4pm-2am M-TH

Overview:

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Include precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Expectations:

• Ability to operate a CNC production cell (Lathe and Mill)
• Ability to identify worn tooling and change tools and inserts as needed
• Ability to load/unload parts into multiple CNC production machines
• Ability to machine parts with tighter tolerances (<0.001)
• Interpret blueprints that include section views, detail views, and GD&T along with process routing
• Ability to perform simple troubleshooting tasks and procedures (worn tooling or fixturing, need for tool/work offsets, etc.)
• Ability to perform all required quality checks
• Works under general supervision
• Keeps work areas clean and maintains tools and areas in safe operating condition.
• Job duties are not limited to those listed and may be asked to perform similar or incidental work of a comparable, lower, or higher level.
• Ability to run most jobs on shop floors (flexible)
• Ability to perform changeovers of similar jobs in a specific cell
• Ability to perform rework operations when needed
• Can identify when tool/work offsets are required and make these independently.
