Position Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm, Overtime as needed on Friday

Position Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 (Depending on experience)

Overview

Our client in Tiffin, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their machining department and support continued growth in equipment manufacturing. This role involves operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes
• Ability to set up work, select tooling, program and edit programs, and adjust speeds and feeds
• Machine parts & inspect parts, verifying measurements and tolerances against printed specifications
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating work with other team members
• Ability to work on multiple projects as well as be a member of a cross-functional team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members

Requirements

• Must know how to operate CNC mills and lathes, HAAS and Mazatrol controls
• Experience with G‑Code
• Blueprint reading is a requirement
• Ability to set up work, program machines, load and edit CAM programs, machine parts per specifications
• Working knowledge of machinist’s charts and tables, with an understanding of the working properties of metals
• Must be able to read and use measuring devices e.g., scales, calipers, and micrometers
• Capacity to operate a forklift and crane; training will be provided
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules
• Willingness to learn and desire to contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team
