Job summary

Jobot in Connecticut seeks an experienced CNC Training Lead with 5+ years of hands-on CNC experience including Turning, Swiss Turning, and Milling. You will design and deliver training programs, mentor apprentices, and improve operator performance in a large, climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related technical certifications a plus.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on CNC machining experience including Turning, Swiss Turning, Mill-turn and milling.
• Experience or strong background in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Proven ability to convey technical information clearly to apprentices and operators.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive CNC training programs; lead students through hands-on courses.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions to build CNC principles understanding.
• Assess trainee performance and implement improvement plans.
• Stay current with CNC technology and update curriculum accordingly.
• Foster a collaborative learning environment and mentor apprentices and less-experienced staff.
