Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in training or leadership role.
• 5+ years hands-on CNC machining (Turning, Swiss Turning, Mill-turn, Milling).
• Experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Strong ability to convey technical information to apprentices.
• Proficient in reading drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Physical ability to lift 10–30 lbs; stand and walk.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs covering CNC machining; lead students through hands-on training.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training ensuring understanding of CNC principles and practices.
• Assess trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvements.
• Stay current with CNC advancements and integrate updates into the curriculum.
• Act as SME on the manufacturing floor, guiding apprentices and less-experienced machinists.
• Author engineering change notices and training aids to improve operator effectiveness.
• Foster a collaborative environment encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
