Job summary

RTX is offering an Amazing Opportunity on the 2nd shift in our Machining Department. The role involves setting up and operating NC milling machines, lathes, and related equipment to produce assemblies to spec.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience, with U.S. citizenship required. The on-site position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a structured 4x10 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 1+ years of related experience or a post-secondary degree/certificate.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC milling machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations.
• Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to set up equipment for turning, facing, boring and chamfering operations.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain Operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Work with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems.
