Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will operate and adjust semi-automatic CNC equipment, learn setups, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring tools.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CNC experience, and strong math and problem-solving skills. You will work from drawings, follow safety rules, and report any malfunctions in a clean, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Operate and adjust semi-automatic CNC machinery to perform standard and repetitive operations.
• Learn and perform setup processes.
• Ensure tooling and procedures meet tight tolerances.
• Follow instructions and use data to change/mount tools and position parts.
• Adjust machine/fixture stops to maintain tolerances.
• Inspect parts using precision tools and report malfunctions.
• Assist with setups or program proving.
• Under supervision, work procedures and products are checked.
• Follow safety regulations and keep area clean.

Responsibilities
