U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Holyoke, MA is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to set up and operate a range of metal removal processes. You will ensure parts meet close tolerances and work requirements.

The role requires completing a recognized training program, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with CNC machinery and related tooling. You will collaborate with teammates to maintain high efficiency and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• Completed an approved training program for setting up and operating equipment.
• Strong mechanical ability; trade school graduate.
• Experience with CNC programmed machinery and related tooling.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining other complex mechanical equipment.
• Self-motivated with ability to take ownership of work schedule and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate a wide range of metal removal processes and related operations to maintain high efficiency and quality.
• Primarily responsible for set-up and operation of CNC, saw-cut/chamfer, Browne and Sharpe, bar loaders, bench grinders, surface grinders, chip and oil extractor and tooling to meet tolerances.
• Measure all quality parameters of chain components and determine corrective action as needed.
• Retrieve raw material and transfer finished components to subsequent processes to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist, train and develop operators.
