Fairchild Precision Parts in Winchester, CT is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our team. You will operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision components, with hands-on training to grow into a CNC Setup Technician.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and clean work habits. You will document production runs, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Experience or familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Independent work and good planning.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC mill and lathe machines to produce products in accordance with production needs and customer specifications.
• Perform machine maintenance and maintain an organized & clean work area.
• Capture detailed records of production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve product discrepancies and maintain measuring devices and equipment.
• Raise to supervisor any product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and other events that put production at risk.
• Suggest ideas for business improvement (efficiency, communication, quality, etc.)
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
