mk North America, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a skilled CNC programmer who can set up and operate lathes, mills, and routers to machine metal and nonmetal parts.

You will read 3D models and blueprints, select and secure tools, program machine movements, and verify parts meet specs. The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift 75 lbs, and the capacity to stand for long periods in a loud machining environment.

Competenze

• Must be able to program, set up and operate CNC equipment.
• CAM experience required; Fusion 360 preferred.
• Able to read drawings/blueprints.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Mansioni

• Read/view 3D models, blueprints or job orders for specs and tooling.
• Program, position, and secure tools in toolholders.
• Position and secure workpieces in holding devices and fixtures.
• Program machines to position tool and workpiece; set feeds and speeds.
• Observe machine operation and verify conformance to specs.
• Responsible for first piece inspection and quality checks.
