Qualifications

• Proven experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines in a production or job shop environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Working knowledge of G-code programming and CNC controls (Fanuc).
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and tight tolerances.
• Experience with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding equipment.
• Input, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) as needed.
• Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Monitor machine performance and make offset adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop standards.
