Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire role in Lancaster, PA. You will operate multiple production machines, load and unload metal parts, and perform basic quality checks throughout each run.

Work on any of three shifts and support continuous production. Prior experience with hand tools, gauges, and reading blueprints is valued. This onsite position offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of CNC or machine operation experience is a plus.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment is helpful.
• Exposure to blueprint reading is beneficial, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines by loading metal blocks and starting cycles.
• Tighten fixtures with hand and torque wrenches before runs.
• Inspect machined parts for quality and document results.
• Reload machines promptly to maintain production flow and meet schedules.
• Communicate machine performance and any issues to supervisors.
