Job summary

Terex Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator in Fort Payne, AL to set up and operate CNC machining and fabrication equipment for high-quality components. You will read blueprints, verify dimensions with precision tools, and support efficient production with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work with various CNC systems and production software.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, machining, or related production.
Working knowledge of measuring devices and production equipment.
Basic computer proficiency, including CNC control systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC equipment including machining centers, milling machines, robotic systems, laser equipment, plasma tables, brakes and shears.
Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, work instructions, diagrams, work orders, and reports to ensure accurate production.
Use measuring tools to verify specifications and perform quality inspections.
Operate material handling equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and perform routine maintenance.
