Job summary

Terex is seeking a versatile Machine Operator in Fort Payne, Alabama to set up and run CNC equipment, read blueprints, inspect quality, and maintain documentation. You will support production while ensuring safety and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in manufacturing or related production.
• Working knowledge of measuring devices and production equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency including CNC control systems and MS Office.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment including machining centers and mills.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Use measuring tools to verify part specifications.
• Perform quality inspections to meet standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and participate in 5S.
