Cornerstone Building Brands currently seeks a Machine Operator I to set up and operate heavy machinery, performing cutting, punching, forming, and processing operations while strictly following safety guidelines. The role requires the ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and ensure quality output.

You will also perform preventive maintenance, handle simple tooling tasks, and inspect finished parts.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience in safe and efficient operation
• Includes all line equipment, processes, and procedures
• Detail and quality oriented
• Verifiable dependability and energetic
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word)
• Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds continuously
• Forklift experience is a plus and trainable
• Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed

Mansioni

• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, punch, form, or paint quality parts
• Read blueprints, specifications, and other data to select materials
• Maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and lubrication
• Mark part numbers and attach identification tags for traceability
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
