Chief Buildings in Indiana seeks a skilled CNC operator to set up and operate multiple CNC work centers for punching, shearing, or forming. You will read drawings, select tools, and ensure parts meet tolerance requirements through precise measurement and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant CNC fabrication experience, familiarity with fractions and decimals, and the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metal fabrication operations and CNC methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with fractions and decimals.

Responsabilités

• Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority.
• Set up, operate, and make necessary program modifications on CNC machines.
• Fabricate parts based on engineering drawings and work orders; check tolerances.
• Perform authorized maintenance and adjustments on machines.
• Move material using forklifts, hoists, cranes, and manual handling as necessary.
• Maintain production records and inventory data integrity.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
