Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Machine Operator I for our Horseshoe Beach, FL site. You will set up and operate CNC-controlled equipment to cut, punch, form, and inspect parts, while following safety and quality procedures.

The role requires basic math and measuring skills, plus the ability to work overtime as needed. Full-time, day shift hours apply with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints/specs and select materials.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, Excel, Word).
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC-controlled machines (presses, lasers, rolling mills).
• Follow safety rules and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
• Maintain equipment through routine preventive maintenance.
• Mark parts with numbers and attach IDs for traceability.
• Read tape measures and follow posted schedules.
