Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing is hiring CNC Machine Operators for all shifts in New Berlin, WI. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered. Experience with Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus, and the team emphasizes precision and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments.
• Learn how to setup CNC machines.
• Identify and use the correct tools while maintaining tight measurements and tolerances.
• Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures.
• Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines.
• Adjust machine settings and fixtures to ensure parts meet requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts.
• Read part drawings/blue prints.

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance carbide cutting tools. We are looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team.

Any experience working with Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus!

Job Duties:

• Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments
• Learn how to setup CNC machines
• Identify and use the correct tools while maintaining tight measurements and tolerances
• Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures
• Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines
• Adjust machine settings and fixtures to ensure the part meets requirements
• Use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts
• Read part drawings/blue prints
