Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing is seeking CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team in Wisconsin. This role involves operating CNC machines, making offset adjustments, and learning to set up machines while interpreting drawings and maintaining tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
• Experience with G&M Code is a plus but not required.
• Candidates with experience operating CNC grinding equipment (Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, ANCA) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments.
• Learn how to setup CNC machines.

• Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures.
• Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines.

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance carbide cutting tools. We are looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team.

Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus!

Job Duties:

• Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments
