Job description

Seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator (metal) for our 50-year-old company. Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Operate multi-axis (3, 4, & 5) machining centers.
2. Conduct in-process inspections.
3. Dismantle set-ups and return tools to proper locations upon completion of manufacturing runs.
4. Report any discrepancies of blueprint dimensions to management.
5. Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Machines such as lathes & milling machines in manufacturing.
6. Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, bore gauges, and indicators.
7. Intermediate ability to read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
8. Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other machine accessories.
9. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively in English.
10. Adaptability to changing work environments and demands.
11. Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
12. Basic math skills for material fabrication calculations.
13. Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
14. Ability to operate multiple machines independently or in a team environment.
