Are you a CNC expert who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and technical excellence? Mid-State is looking for an Advanced CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team! Specializing in tube bending and equipment setup, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality parts that power industries across America.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup, program (as needed), and operate CNC tube bending machines to produce components according to specifications.

Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Select, measure, and install correct tooling, dies, and bending equipment for job specifications.

Perform initial setups and run first-article inspections to verify dimensions and quality standards.

Conduct precision bending of tubes using both manual and automated CNC machines.

Troubleshoot, adjust, and fine-tune equipment to correct issues and maintain tolerances.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.

Work collaboratively with quality control, engineering, and other production staff to optimize processes.

Maintain detailed production records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC machine operation experience, with specific expertise in tube bending.

Strong understanding of machine programming basics (G-code familiarity preferred).

Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and understanding GD&T standards.

High mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., hoists, forklifts) safely and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.

Preferred Skills (Not Required, But a Plus):

Experience with multi-axis CNC bending machines.

Knowledge of a variety of tubing materials (stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, etc.).

Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
