Job description

CNC Operator Needed!

Pay Rate = $18-$20 DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate computer numerical control machines to manufacture precision components.
• Participate in and initiate Continuous Improvement activities.
• Retrieve job-related information such as job routings, part drawings, tool lists, work instructions, and in-process inspection sheets.
• Inspect raw materials for dimensions, quantity, defects, and heat lot/certification numbers.
• Manufacture parts to the required quantity and document production using ERP systems.
• Inspect and document parts according to specified requirements.
• Sign off work orders in the ERP system.
• Print necessary documents like routers when required.
• Provide totes, documents, and parts to the next process step.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete all processes in ERP systems and provide shift reports.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a production or industrial environment, preferably with CNC machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T.
• Experience with measuring tools and gauges.

Language Skills:

• Effective written communication conforming to prescribed styles.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret various instructions and documentation.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio).
• Experience with ERP systems.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required, including focus adjustment.
