Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift at its Newington, NH facility. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and preventing equipment failures on CNC machinery, with emphasis on predictive maintenance and safe operation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience, knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens PLCs, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office. Team-based environment and opportunity for growth within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational degree preferred.
• 3 years of maintenance repair experience, preferably on CNC equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc/Siemens PLCs and other PLCs is preferred.
• Familiar with maintaining CNC mills, lathes, pallet systems, and related tooling.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Set reference parameters and corrections unaided.
• Perform immediate, reactive repairs to keep production on line.
• Perform machine alignment checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and enhance PM programs.
• Document parts usage and daily activities.
• Follow safety practices and ISO procedures.
• Collaborate across departments and support continuous improvement.
• May work overtime or in other facilities as needed.
