Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Facilities Technician II for the 2nd shift at its Newington, NH facility. You will perform hands-on building maintenance to support Manufacturing, Production, and internal teams.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in a trade or mechanical position, strong ability to coordinate with contractors, read drawings, and operate maintenance systems, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years of trade or mechanical experience required.
• Experience coordinating external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
• Maintenance duties including drywall, carpentry, inventory management, and building automation systems.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be proficient with CMMS and BMS.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections of the facility, grounds, premises and spaces.
• Aid in Manufacturing Production equipment repairs.
• Prioritize work orders and urgent requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and report findings.
• Travel between SIG locations per schedule.
• Communicate safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and 5S standards.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary tasks and ensure production readiness.
