Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Value Added Set up Operator to set up CNC Lathe machinery and ensure production standards are met. You will interpret drawings and process sheets, select and verify tools, and perform depth/compensation calculations to drive quality.

Strong math skills and blueprint reading are essential, with safety and teamwork emphasized. Applicants should have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a relevant certificate, and ability to read micrometers/calipers.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months - 1-year related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery upholding production standards and ISO 9001 regulations.
• Inspect product to print for flaws and defects; deburr if necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain proper tools from tool crib; select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
