Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Value Added Set up Operator to program and operate CNC lathe machines onsite. You will interpret drawings, process sheets, and shop orders to plan and check work, select and set up tools, and ensure accuracy and quality of each part.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts to print, deburring as needed, calculating depths and feeds, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Set up to operate CNC lathe machinery following production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Inspect products to print, identify flaws, and deburr when needed.
• Interpret drawings, specs, process sheets, and shop orders for planning work.
• Obtain and check proper tools, secure and adjust for accuracy.
• Calculate tool depth and compensation, and verify operations.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and move material to next station.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathe machinery per specs and ISO 9001.
• Inspect parts for defects and perform deburring as needed.
• Read and interpret drawings, process sheets, and orders to plan work.
• Select and check tools, mounting and alignment for accuracy.
• Calculate tool depth and speeds, ensuring correct operation sequences.
• Move finished material to subsequent workstation and keep workspace clean.
