Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced machinist to set up, operate, and program CNC and conventional machines to produce quality parts. You will read drawings, make offsets, and ensure tolerances; inspect parts during and after machining.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, strong English communication, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with basic arithmetic. A safe, clean workplace and adherence to 5S are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, operating and programming CNC machines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication in English and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of metals and machining measurements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, ISO procedures, etc.
• Ability to record basic information in a computer.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals).
• Ability to use a computer with clear instructions and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and conventional machines.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and controls for each new job.
• Create replacement and new parts from drawings and written instructions.
• Read and modify CNC programs with offsets.
• Report variations in program sequences, positioning, and cycle times.
• Adjust machines to control part dimensions.
• Inspect in-process pieces for conformance to specifications.
• Edit and prove out programs to meet customer requirements.
• Enter job data into computer.
• Maintain clean and safe workplace per company policies and 5S.
