Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to set up and run lathe machines per specifications. You will inspect finished parts, deburr when needed, and ensure products meet drawings and process instructions.

The role emphasizes tool selection, measurement, and adherence to production standards in a fully onsite environment. Candidates should have a certificate or equivalent training, basic measurement skills, and familiarity with feeds and speeds.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with feeds and speeds calculations.
• Blueprint reading course completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
• Inspect parts against print, identify flaws, and perform deburring if needed.
• Interpret drawings, process sheets, and shop orders to plan work.
• Obtain and prepare correct tools from tool crib, mount and verify accuracy.
• Follow routes and instructions to sequence operations and adjust tool depth.
