Job summary

CRISTEK INTERCONNECTS INC is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to set up, run, and monitor precision components per engineering drawings and GD&T. You will load and adjust CNC programs, verify tooling and offsets, and perform rigorous inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of CNC lathe setup and operation.
• G-code, M-code, CNC controls, offsets, and wear adjustments.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, setup docs, and machining specifications.
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine and moderately complex machining problems.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Know ITAR compliance and U.S. person requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce components per drawings.
• Load, edit, and verify CNC programs, including G-code and M-code changes.
• Establish tool geometry, work offsets, and wear offsets.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, surface finish, dimensional variation, and chip-control issues.
• Assist with new-job setups, program prove-outs, and process improvements.
• Train or assist less-experienced operators as needed.
• Meet established quality, production, and delivery requirements.
