Job summary

Industrious Group is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe/Mill operator to set up and run precision parts. You will read blueprints, program CNC controls, and collaborate with engineers to ensure tolerances. A HS diploma and five years in CNC lathes/mills are required. The role includes 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Plan CNC programs to control contour-path machining of parts on automatic machine tools.
• Perform quality work checks using in-process inspection tools.
• Work with engineers to produce parts to engineered specifications.
• Writes instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide set-up and operation of machine.
• Revises programs to eliminate instruction errors.
• Observe machine operation on trial runs to verify instructions.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
