Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Lathe) on the 1st shift in Beltsville, MD. The role involves set-up and operation of CNC Lathe and Mill machines, inspecting finished parts, and following drawings and revisions.

The successful candidate will perform tool changes, program edits, offset adjustments, and tooling selection per print specifications, with opportunities to train others and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year CNC/machinist experience or CNC degree/certification.
• ITAR requires U.S. person; no immigration sponsorship.
• No relocation; within 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD.
• Must be able to wear PPE and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups and tool changes for multiple machines with different controls to execute operations.
• Modify, edit, download, and upload programs to produce parts.
• Perform offset adjustments and use proper tooling based on print specs.
• Interpret technical drawings in accordance with shop practices.
• Train and mentor other operators and assist with related duties.
