Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Machine Operator I - 1st Shift. The role operates multiple CNC mills, loads/unloads parts, and performs quality checks per drawings. The shift runs 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, at an hourly rate of $23.00.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing or CNC training. You will work in a safety-conscious environment, read drawings, and support 5S practices while training others as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience or CNC degree/certification.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and meet export-control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and perform loading/unloading of parts.
• Inspect parts and verify against drawings; note revisions and codes.
• Perform tool changes, deburr, and maintain part quality per specs.
• Follow 5S+ practices; keep area clean and safe.
• Conduct in-process checks and adjust offsets as needed.
• Interpret drawings and shop instructions accurately.
• Assist with training other operators and supporting cells.
