Qualifications

• Previous CNC lathe machining experience required.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and safety mindset.
• CNC programming or editing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Load materials and properly position parts in machines.
• Select and change tooling, inserts, and fixtures as needed.
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain required specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machines throughout production and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures.
