Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist for a local client. This hands-on role requires setups, precision machining, and maintaining high quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include machine setups with hard jaws, soft jaws and angle plates; selecting speeds, feeds, and tooling; reading blueprints and tolerances; and inspecting parts with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC Lathe and CNC Mill (both preferred).
• Able to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups using hard jaws, soft jaws, angle plates.
• Select speeds, feeds, and tooling for each job and inspect parts.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and tolerances.
• Maintain production timelines while ensuring top-quality standards.
