Job summary

Great Work Employment Services is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist for our Dover, OH facility. You will set up and operate CNC lathe machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances through QC inspections.

The role requires experience with CNC programming/operation, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining certification preferred.
• Proven CNC lathe machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
