Toolcraft in a clean, high-tech manufacturing facility seeks a CNC Lathe Machinist Level 1 to join a skilled production team. Day shift M-F, 6am-2:30pm, with possible night shifts after training; night shift offers a $4/hour differential.

You will set up tooling, program edits, and maintain shop documents, while inspecting parts and training technicians to ensure quality and efficiency. Requires 5 years lathe setup experience and a high school diploma; familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controllers; experience with multiple lathe brands.
• Understand tool and work offsets and their impact on parts.
• Read and follow shop procedures; use inspection tools and basic shop math.

Responsabilités

• Setup tooling per work order and setup sheet.
• Audit and maintain shop documents as required.
• Program edits to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Tie-in and train Shop Technicians.
• Operate the machine per programs and work order instructions.
• In-process inspection of parts against a checklist.
• Deburr parts to promote continuous machine operation.
• Promote continuous process improvement through daily shop activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, and work area.
