Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additional job duties may be assigned. Current opening is 2nd shift, starting at 3:30pm.

• Set up and run CNC Lathe with Mazatrol controller.
• Lathe Checks to ensure details are finished to print.
• Setting of Tools in Lathe.
• Some G and M code editing required.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Demonstrate safe work habits.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work Environment

Employees may be subject to environments such as working near loud moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, exposure to heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

Noise Level

The noise level in the working environment will generally be high. Ear protection may be required.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, smelling, and moving weights up to 50 pounds.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Requires successful completion of 4 years of high school or equivalent plus a two-year technical degree in CNC; 2-3 years of CNC operation experience; proficiency with computers, advanced math, reading technical drawings, and effective communication.

• Experience with basic computer systems.
